Earth Day
On the freeway today, a bird flew into my car. I choose to believe it survived because it's Earth Day. I choose to believe it was trying to give me a hug.

Filling up on the drive home from AWP I found a bird stuck in the grill of N's car. It was smaller than my fist. We both thought it was a moth when we saw it flash in the headlights an hour earlier.
